Bleeding Heart; A term, usually critical and politically loaded, for someone who is held to be overly sympathetic to another person's (or group of people's) plight. In this case being overly sympathetic towards a fictional character who put himself in a position to be robbed/ killed. Okay, l changed my mind, he deserved to die. I hope he suffered terribly.

Since this is fiction, it really doesn't matter, now does it?
But if it were real life, it is hard to have sympathy for anyone that knowingly puts his or herself in harms way. It really is simple, don't want to get robbed/ killed by a lot lizard? Don't do business with them. Another analogy that fits in this situation is Darwin's Thinning of the Herd theory....... Let me know if you need this explained also Fredog.
