I remember it was -52 celsius(about the same in F) with the windchill about 3 years ago.

I had my truck outside, unplugged. Ran the espar engine heater for 4 hours. Came back, oh boy was she stiff, but it started!

Usually, they aim for a window when they do that. You got lucky. I had one take out the PICTURE WINDOW and land at my feet. The bird was small compensation for the cost of that window. Garage windows have been taken out a couple of times too. Also had one IN tha garage and the door open. When I came walking up the driveway, it took off and went through the back window... Only to land in the grass a few feet away.

And they say "POLLOCKS ARE DUMB".... :roll:
