Default How do you find a good criminal lawyer??

Any ideas? I have looked at the Martindale-Hubble ratings but they only provide a rating. Not much info on the lawyer themselves. What would you ask a lawyer when "interviewing" them? Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance.
Mike

You could try contacting the BAR in your state and ask for references of lawyers who specialize in the type of legal issues you are having.

Another good idea, is go to the Courthouse, check the docket for criminal cases, and go see who is doing the most beating up on the DA's.

Matlock would be a good choice...or Jonnie Cochran...no wait he's dead.

I listen to his talk show on XM every Saturday on my long drive home. Great entertaining talk show about people calling talking about their law questions ans he allways plugs his web site.

I listen to handel on the law when I get the chance too. Pretty funny show sometimes with good advice. I tried his website and it gave me two options one hasn't responded to my inquiry and the other practices in California, a little far for proper representation I think.

I like the idea of going down to the courthouse. I'll be downtown tomorrow.
