I was dedicated to chicago in a penske. I think i had 30k in the box. right where 65 meets 80 a driver broke down in the right lane. A big truck was broken down in the right lane. The left lane had construction. A truck finally showed up to pull him and hour later. as soon as he moved i dropped my truck into 2nd or third and let the clutch out. Clunk. lost my tranny. Most 4wheeleres would have thought "omg my luck". I thought "Oh dear god i hope none of the truckers behind me has a gun". DOT guy walks up ask whats up i tell him while apologising PROFUSELY on the cb. He asks if i want him to pull me over with their little dot Ram 1500 or 2500. I say "sure man but i doubt youre gonna move me". We hook it up with straps he drops her in low gear and 20 sseconds later im in the emergency lane.

Seriously thought i was a dead man that day :P My dispatcher/buddy thought it was hilarious
