I worked for them.
Made .35cpm, $10 to load, $10 to unload, extra $10 for a pump off and wait time you got $12 per hour. Our terminal was very small and had no supervision so they didn't pay us hourly. It's not a bad company but not one of the better paying ones. What I didn't like about them was they don't dispatch on seniority. If the dispatcher liked you, you got the good money runs. I don't know what the benefits are like? My wife has great insurance so I declined theirs. The work wasn't very consistant, one week you might bring home $1000 and another you might bring home $400. New guys usually get crappy shifts. I worked 3am-3pm Thursday-Monday. We had 10 drivers and the #1 driver had Saturday and Sunday off, everyone else worked weekends. |

OK Thanks for the info..Just kinda looking for an out, just in case.Just
heard the news on Jevic yesterday.I'm with the TL division of Big Brown.
We only have 800 tractors and I believe it's getting harder to compete
with the JB's,Swift and Schneiders.Things are OK for now,I imagine. |
