Does anyone know anything about FleetFirst? They have accepted my application for an OTR slot and I'm scheduled for Physical, drug screen and a PAT test this week and next.

Remember, I've been out of driving 10 years folks so I'm a little "antsy" here but I need a job. Thanks!!

Not to be an ass but shouldn't you research a company before you fill out an application? What if you go through all the hubbub and find out they are not right for you? Then you have wasted your time and theirs.

My Brother,

If you don't want to be then you shouldn't be. I posted the question here because I've done all the research I could do with the resources I have on hand. Also, I haven't seen anything about them in the forum so this is a good way to get the question in front of people. Those who know will respond accordingly...

A driver I know personally used to haul for them out of Weirton , WV . Out of WV he either ran to Wisconsin or Tennesse , the problem was brokered freight for the backhauls which he would sit for hours . He worked for them for 3 years but said they pretty much suck without elaborating .

I do appreciate your reply but it would be far more helpful to me to know "why they suck" as he says. If its personal reasons that apply to him, they may not apply to me,.. but that's whyI'm asking. Thanks again!

I think he just didn't get along with management . I'm sure they aren't a bad company as he stated they usually have dedicated freight coming out of the termianl location which is a huge plus . I will ask him when I see him next for more details .

Thanks "Smooth"

I'm in the interview process with them, just did the drug test & physical for an OTR slot I was told about. I know out of Lynchburg, VA, where I am, they do a lot of day trips but I haven't seen their OTR trucks anywhere. So any more information is welcome,..
