I have a 94 Cummins and need a reliable and GOOD injector cleaner.
What do truckers use to keep the injectors clean for the millions of miles you put on your motor? How often do you put it in your tank? I have been told about Diesel Kleen, but heard that it is not very good. I want to hear from the pros that drive Cummins for a living.
Thank you all for your work. |

Quote: I have a det with over 1.1 mil miles. if a injector cleaner works, it will work in any engine. I use lucas injector cleaner. when servicing my truck every 10,000 miles. I fill up my fuel filter with the lucas & pour the rest in the tanks when I fill up. I have noticed at one time the truck had started quicker.all my original injectors lasted over 1 mil miles. one went out just over 1 mil & the other 5 have not been changed. NOW I will say.. weather or not my truck's injectors have went this far because or despite the treatment... I cannot say. Just reporting the results. |
