| Filled and sent out paperwork on March 15, recieved passport on March 28. 13 days, not too bad. |

| two id required as of now and fast card serves well going into us but cbsa has different ideas on that so your dl and one secondary id is good to go.... |

I haven't gotten back on the road yet, but, I can say that I applied with Maverick and they say they will apply for your passport for you. I would think if any company wants their drivers going to Canada and Mexico they would do that. Companies have the internal systems in place to take care of all this for the driver and get the passports expedited to suit their needs.
One good thing about going into Canada, if you can find the right place to stop, you can buy Cuban cigars!!! 8) but you'll have to tuck them away crossing back over. And if you wanted to buy a full box its best to ship them home, but it can be done. |
