Here are some True Odd, Strange laws for the wonderful united states lol.

1. It is illegal to hunt camels in the state of Arizona.

2. Before the enactment of the 1978 law that made it mandatory for dog owners in New York City to clean up after their pets, approximately 40 million pounds of dog excrement were deposited on the streets every year.

3. In Harrisburg, Pennsylvania it is illegal to have sex with a truck driver inside a tollbooth.

4. In Kentucky, it is illegal to transport an ice cream cone in your pocket.

5.In Louisana, it is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot at the bank teller with a water pistol.

6. In Massachusetts, snoring is prohibited unless all bedroom windows are closed and securely locked

7. In Florida, if an elephant is left tied to a parking meter, the parking fee has to be paid just as it would for a vehicle.

8. In New York State it is still illegal to shoot a rabbit from a moving trolley car.

9. In Los Angeles courts it is illegal to cry on the witness stand.

10. In Chicago, Illinois, it is illegal to fish in pajamas.

11.Hornytown, North Carolina has banned all massage parlors.

12. In Alabama it is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle.

13. In Hartford, Conn., it's illegal to plant a tree in the street.

14. In the state of Washington it's illegal to catch a fish by throwing a rock at it.

15. It's against the law in Fairbanks, Alaska to give a moose a beer.

Charlotte, NC
# Women must have their bodies covered by at least 16 yards of cloth at all times.

Forest City, NC
# You must stop and call City Hall before entering town in an automobile. This is so the townspeople will have time to go out and hold their horses until you get through town.

North Carolina in General
# All couples staying overnight in a hotel must have a room with double beds that are at least two feet apart. Making love in the space between the beds is strictly forbidden.

# If a man and a woman who aren't married go to a hotel/motel and register themselves as married then, according to state law, they are legally married.

# It's against the law to sing off key.

# Elephants may not be used to plow cotton fields.

# A marriage can be declared void if either of the two persons is physically impotent.

Also in NC, it is illegal for a woman who weighs over 300 lbs to ride a horse while wearing short pants. While across the border in VA it is illegal to talk under water.

Its a $500 fine for setting off a nuclear device within the city limits.

There was a law in CT that any male member of a family, over the age of 10 had to carry a shotgun to church to pretect the congregation from indian attack.

TN had a law that if a man's wife was driving a car, he had to run down the street in front of her waving a red flag and warning everyone that his wife was driving.

PA had a law that if a horsless carriage came to an intersection, the driver had to stop before the intersection and shoot a shotgun in all four directions to warn any horses that a car was crossing through the intersection.

Dammit, us truckers are always the targets of discrimination! (Of course, it might depend on your definition of "sex." Or "truck." Or "tollbooth." Or "is.") :lol:

It is illegal to walk from MN to WI with a duck on your head. Really. (I'd love to know what the heck gave rise to that one.) :?:

In Texas, it is illegal to drive without windshield wipers. You don't need a windshield, but you must have the wipers.

In attleboro Mass. you could shoot any body cross the state line from RI.

In VA, you will be ticketed for honking your horn per the Aggressive Driving law. :D

You are to flash your lights to signal a slower moving vehicle to move out of the passing lane, BUT, you can be ticketed for doing that under the Aggressive Driving law. :D

I have yet to see anything against using the Chrome Horn or per Jeff Foxworthy, get up under them, get the air off their rear end and spin them out of the way. :D

Don't know if they still have it, but Pigeon Forge, TN had a law like that about 10 years ago. Think it was, if the police saw you pass by more than once in 10-15 minutes, they would ticket you. Something about cruising the strip and clogging traffic.

In Pakistan, it is illegal to cross the border into Afghanistan unless you intend to blow yourself up with high explosives near to a bus station

In Iran, it is illegal to read from the Koran whilst naked, unless you are securing high explosives to your person at the same time

In North Korea, it is illegal to construct a nuclear explosive device unless you intend to use it

In China, it is illegal to do anything, period.
