| you are a smart man rkeck...I saw that flaw too. Kind of made me wonder when Swift was ranked higher than JB hunt for pay. Although I might be biased because im one of those "evil recruiters"...How could a company like swift who pays 29 cpm be ranked higher for pay than a company that pays 42 cpm.....makes you go hmmmmmmmm |

| well this is really not a accurate or fair way to judge a company, I can apply for every company and rate everyone low and rate swift the highest, even thought I hate swift so to get the best results would be hard to obtain, you get new people that gone from company to company and rate good companies bad so no this is not a real good census at all.. |

I think the tool is great. I put me in touch with this company. I have been there with them a month now and it is a drivers dream come true. Lots of miles...NO BS. and home when you ask. I was hired and showed up at the SHV facility and was flown to Indy the next day for orientation which took less than 3 hrs. 3 hrs later I was under a load and gone!!!
Give this company a try...They're awesome and you'll work for one the best freight coordinators in the business. I have never sat for more than an hour empty.
Oh, and free health insurance to boot. |

While knowing what company is on top of what other company is good, I guess, can they be arranged alphabetically?
Also, can a column be added to show the number of drivers that have rated a certain company and how long they drove for them? It means nothing at all, to have an overall rating of 5.0, if there's only been one driver rate that company and he's only been with them for two weeks. Same same for a low rating. Just means they had one disgruntled driver find this site. |

Well, if your wondering about that, let me help you out. If the truck is moving, you get paid. If the truck is sitting in a turck stop waiting for a run, you don't get paid.
I guess their are more drivers sitting and waiting for their runs than going down the road with good ole JB. |

I think this table is fair, but only if more drivers rate the companies. A general average of a large amount of people will give you the ideal of the whole picture of that company.
If a company doesn't rate, or has a low rating, and has only a few voters, then that tells you a few people had problems. If a company is a good company, and only one voted, where is the bashing? This table give you a rating system of how drivers truly feel towards a company, good or bad.
So use it as a tool while looking. After all, it just a rating table of drivers opinions. |

There's not been a lot of respondents to the Company Ratings. No Roehl people out there? I and others will be using information from these ratings for determining what company to drive for. I also understand the need to talk to drivers in real life prior to making a decision. Thanks,
Man my dad worked for them or i should say slaved for them. he was out 2 weeks at a time his average check was 300 bucks he got a few big ones like maybe 2 or 3 if u call 600 big. they gave him horrible loads he has been in the industry for about 16 years 2 as a terminal manager. they treated him horrible. they accused him of doing 70mph and tail gating. i know my father well enough to know that hes not an aggresive driver he makes me fall asleep. oh and their trucks are governed to 65 mph they wanted him to sign a write up he told them give me a load up to marshfeild and ill have my family pick me up i'm resigning. they said no need we will get u a bus from here (gary terminal) he said ok and he packed his stuff they ups'd the stuff up to us. oh and then u got what my dad called the marshfeild mafia the truckers who were brown nosers and told on everyone. my dad doesn't like to be policed by other drivers its none of there bussiness all driver are out there to do is drive and not pick on ppl. ya so thats a soft spot for me i saw how they treated him that is the most unhappy company on earth. but my friends dad drives flatbed for them he likes it. and my dad drove van i know other drivers had a diff experince with them.

Clearly (as stated here by others too) this is one of the most ill conceived and poorly planned features on CAD. It fails to list the number of voters on the main list, it fails to show how long a company has been listed on CAD as a member company, it is far too susceptible to skewed results caused by disgruntled drivers or input from non-driver "electronic vandals".
A public rating system generated by anonymous individuals who are not required to prove ANYTHING about themselves or their qualifications for passing such judgment is doomed to failure. |

Well, you see, you don't want a honest rating system. Because part of that system is the "disgruntle driver". You must have the negative along with the positive, or the ratings itself would be skewed.
Just my disgruntle .02 cents. |

Sorry allow me to clarify what I was trying to say. I was speaking about disgruntled drivers who may have been let go for unsafe driving or drug use or poor performance who then come on here and rate the company that fired them low when in reality, THAT company was right for cutting them loose. By firing dangerous or poor drivers, a company actully shows QUALITY but may get a bad rap in the ratings by the loser they let go. |
