Yes, there is. Attending one that's close to where you live certainly helps. When I went to Alliance, I never once spent a night in a motel room. However, if you don't live that close, you can probably pay for a room by yourself. Now, whenever you get a job and start into training, well, those quarters will make motel life look much easier.
Despite hobo's cynicism, he does have a point. Team driving is kinda like a motel scenario, except one person's up all night moving the room around and rocking the bed. Then again, whoever is the other driver won't be a stranger for long. Then again, that's a whole different can of worms.
