I can tell you it's tough if you've never done it before Eddie. I went camping a lot when I was younger as a Scout so I shared tents with friends all the time. Nothing wrong with that at all. When I went to college and had to share a room with someone I knew absolutely nothing about..............it bothered me a bit. I got over it to a point, still got real PO-ed when he would come stumbling in at 2-3 am drunk and flip on the lights then ask if the lights woke me up. It does seem scary but it's not the end of the world.

Eddie you were asking about during the 'time your in school', right ? .... Not after you head out with a Trainer.

Talk to the school before your go and see what their polices are on problem room mates and etc ? .... for the time your sharing a room or an apartment while in school .... leave your valuable items at home ... and when you graduate from school and sign up with the company your going to drive for ask them if they could route you toward your home town as soon as possible so you may pick up the other items you want to take with you. I found most companys I drove for worked with all new drivers, they know your not going to take all your items to school with you.... But a good set of ear plugs will do wonders, and buy a bottle of Frbreeze....

Sorry for the confusion, but that response was for Hobo.
Thankfully... ...you missed the post, that GMAN deleted.
Hobo made some good points, but he must have added too much bran to his diet....cuz he was kinda "full of it." :block:

I do try to just be funny, and I know that also risks offending.
If I have a beef with someone, I won't cloud the issue, and leave them guessing.
I do have an Icon status, which does make me one of the biggest idiots here...and I've been here too long, but they won't give me parole.
I've gathered allot of those images over the years, in my desperate attempt to get banned outta this coffin cab.

Anyway, one way to approach the close quarters with a bunch of steering wheel holders, is to get all Francis on their ass.
