It's much better than good. It's excellent! Especially considering that your engine didn't brake in yet. Is it an ECM, or at the pump?

How's it going Malaki86? First I truly wish you the best in this, but I have been very much opposed to the Lease Purchase deals. I have never heard of one that worked and you seem pretty honest so keep us posted on how you are doing. Be safe!

I think I'm doing pretty good. I've averaging about $1,500 per week after all expenses. There's plenty of money to be made here, but it depends on where you are and where you want to go. In the northeast, you can easily average over $2.75 per mile. I've talked to too many people at Schneider, doing the exact same lease-purchase, to know it's not a good deal. Some of them are on their 3rd and 4th trucks here. My average income is $1.77 per mile last month, with $1.02 in expenses. I love doing the load scheduling. It's like a game. Sometimes you'll be 4 loads deep before you decide to take the first one. After all - you don't want to end up somewhere that doesn't pay anything coming out. The lowest I've made is $1.45 per mile, but I've seen loads under $0.70 per mile. I have had absolutely zero issues with SNI other than having a few (4) loads cancel on me so far, but I recovered quickly from those.

I am glad things seem to be going well for you, malaki. I was talking with a guy this morning who is about to complete his lease with CRST Malone. He said that he will have the truck paid in about a year. I didn't have much time to discuss it with him, but he seems to be doing alright with his lease purchase.

Still running good. Zero issues with the truck past the original issue of the the minor axle gasket leak. Averaging about 7.6mpg pulling mostly 40,000lb+ loads. Still averaging over $1.50 per mile (all miles) to the truck. I've got loads booked up until the 25th when I'll go home for a couple of days.

Hello,
I read this whole thread and it's very informative especially for a person who is trying to gather information of becoming an O/O. New to this site so hello all. i do have a question. If you have your own truck could you pull loads for Schneider? If so, would you get paid more opposed to being a L/O?

If you have your own truck and Authority you have to be in business for 6 months before they will approve you. The rates will vary. Sometimes there are loads they can't move so they will pay more. Other times the L/O will make more. It all comes down to supply and demand. I did some loads for them last year.
