I keep hearing trucking company ads for hiring drivers on satellite radio talk about "CSA".

They might be referring to the FMCSA CSA 2010 enforcement program.

OK? Now, what does CSA stand for? It would be nice if they would get the word out in an effective manner.

I was wondering when this confusion would happen. The FMCSA wasn't thinking of Canada's CSA when they came up with that name. For those Americans that don't know, having a product stamped with CSA is the same as the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certification.

The CSA in U.S. trucking is FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program — formerly known as Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA 2010).

Sounds like just yet another example of Obama's "nanny state" government micromanagement of stuff that they should just leave well enough alone!
