What Does The Canadian Standards Association (CSA) Have To Do With Trucking?
I keep hearing trucking company ads for hiring drivers on satellite radio talk about "CSA". :bigthink:

They might be referring to the FMCSA CSA 2010 enforcement program. http://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l2...nd10/shrug.gif

I was wondering when this confusion would happen. The FMCSA wasn't thinking of Canada's CSA when they came up with that name. For those Americans that don't know, having a product stamped with CSA is the same as the UL (Underwriters Laboratories) certification.
The CSA in U.S. trucking is FMCSA’s Compliance, Safety, Accountability (CSA) program — formerly known as Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA 2010). |
