Default C 1 Trucking School info Pls

I will be attending C1 trucking school in St. Loius, Mo. Does anyone have any info on that school.

I was told that they have no pre-hire physical test (wellness program) is this true?? :P

I have my cdl with B,C,D,S,P endorsements including my class A & H permits on hard copy. I need to finalize my "H" endorsement by completeing the finger printing process.

From what I understand is acceptable and easy to get transferred to whatever state I will be attending school in.

I am concerned about the physical part due to having knee surgery 12 yrs ago and that limits my squatting. I am able to kneel and crawl, lift 70 lbs.

I was kicked out of Swift school due to my knee situation and I dont want to waste my time nor theirs if this will be a problem.

Also, I have been accepted at CRST trucking school in Louisville, ky

Default C1 School

I don't see where it matters to which knee had surgery.. BUT, to answer your question ... surgery was over 12 yrs ago.

Yes, I can pass the DOT physical.. I currently hold my Fed Med card (dot card in some areas)

Lots of companies are doing the Workwell testing now. So while the CDL school may not do anything, your futre employers probably will. It cuts down on the drivers who can't perform the duties and also cuts down on future injuries.

C1 is a classis "cdl mill." They do placement for companies like Stevens, CR England, Werner and Swift.

I would avoid CRST at ALL costs. Probably THE worst company out there. Most of their new drivers never make it six months. I would rather work for CR England.
