Well last week I was informed that my dispatcher would be moving to another board. I ended up with him after much complaining in the first place. My last loads with him were between 2400 and 3000 miles. Got to see the pacific ocean for the first time in my life and things were ok as they can be with a pay of 28 cents a mile.
Now my first load with the new DM was a 400 mile trip to a Walmart DC which is bad enough. Now empty and no preplan as I was told I would have. Told to park for the night. Well on the bright side I hit one year on my license a couple of days ago so I can go local again if I want and in a month and a half I'll have 6 months OTR and better pastures will open up. Now I realize anyway the importance of a good dispatcher.

To most drivers the dispatcher is the company. Many times when you hear complaints about a company, in reality it is complaints about a dispatcher.
