Default 4x4 pulls Big Truck

Today while in town we noticed that that there was a Walmart semi trying to make his turn onto the hwy. when the back wheels of his trailer got stuck on the snow drift. The driver got out of his truck and assest the sittuation and tryed it again. He still was'nt going anywhere ,his back tires wer'nt even touching the ground. In the neanwhile traffic was lining up as part of his truck was out in the road. I quess the trucker came out in my husband and he had to see if he could help. We pulled out and in front of the truck and stopped and asked if he would like a pull. Yea you think you could the trucker said so my husband grabbed the tow strap out of the back of our ol 4x4 GMC and hooked on to Mr. Walmart. He put it into granny low and eased the truck and trailer out with ease.. If he would have had to call a tow truck they would have charged him big time pluss alot of extra bs. We have'nt been truck driving for a little over a year now but the value of helping another truck driver that's in a sitch is still there Even though it's done from a 4x4 pickup. Quess you can take the trucker out of the truck but you can't take the truck out of the trucker.

ive done something similar...though not really. back in school we had a gravel track with an uphill part to a stop sign. well, many of us werent the smoothest with the clutches and so it got pitted up pretty bad(bad enuff that we put a shovel out there with the motto, if you dig it you fix it)well one of the students was driving the doulbe, single axle tractor and two single axle 27s. the other student she was driving with told her not to try and stop. well she decided to, or at least really slow down. well needless to say she got stuck and ur not backing doubles downhill...so out came the good ol ford dually 4x4 1 ton nice truck, 6 speed manual...anyways i ended up driving it because i was the only one between me and the student who was riding along who had ever driven a synchro tranny at the time and he was having troubles playing the clutch.pulled it uphill no problem even on gravel just used granny gear with 4L

Hey really liked the pic in this post. Small puppy in front of the huge commercial truck. Even the description of the Walmart semi truck was good.
