Truck parking has long been a pain point for truck drivers. Finding safe parking at a well-lit truck stop at the precise time your Hours of Services demands that you retire for the evening can be a difficult task.

Some legislation has been passed to improve the issue. As part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Biden administration created the Trucking Action Plan. Among other parts of the TAP, the administration pledged to improve access to parking.

Previous legislation, such as Jason’s Law, was created to address the lack of safe spots for truckers to spend the night.

The private market is working to address the parking issue as well. That’s where TruckParkingClub.com comes in.

Truck Parking Club, in both its website and its app, creates a map that allows truck drivers to find safe spots along their route at warehouses, open lots, and more. Truckers looking to do route planning can even book a spot days in advance.

Drivers only need to create an account to get started. Those who own the spots host them on the site, and the site/app are then able to connect drivers to the spots they need.

These spots are paid, but drivers can pay by the day, the week, or even the month to reserve spots.
