Transport America is pleased to announce the opening of a new Support Center in the Dallas Texas market.  The new Center is located on South Hampton Rd near the 465 exit on Interstate 20 in Dallas.

The new nine-acre site is a great strategic fit for Transport America’s Solo and Team Operations its expanding regional presence as well as its strong presence in the Mexican market.  The facility has a gated yard with security full-service maintenance shop fuel and driver amenities such as driver’s lounge showers Internet ATM and laundry.  Not only is this facility beneficial for Transport America operations but it will also have a positive impact on the Dallas community with jobs created.

We are very excited to add this Support Center to our network said Scott Arves Chief Executive Officer and President.  In July of 2012 Transport America was named the fastest growing truckload carrier by Transport Topics and this investment allows us to deliver our commitment to grow to support our customers and our professional driver base.  We expect to hire more than 200 employees in the area over the next few years.
