Simbeck Inc.

Simbeck Inc. was started in 1984 by Ronald Simkhovitch and Dan Beckett with two tractors and two trailers hauling freight for Rubbermaid Commercial Products Division in Winchester, VA. Mr. Simkhovitch became the sole owner when Mr. Beckett passed away in 1988. In February 2016, the Darnell family purchased Simbeck Inc. With over 16 years as a CDL driver and 5 years as a driver for Simbeck Inc., Mr. Darnell was a perfect fit for the Simbeck family. We are a family oriented company and maintain an open door policy. Mr. Simkhovitch introduced the first 102" wide trailers into the area. When Mr. Simkhovitch approached the Transportation Manager at Rubbermaid about hauling his freight, the Transportation Manager asked, "What are you going to do for me that the other carriers can't? "Well about every 5 or 6 loads I'm going to pull one for free Mr. Simkhovitch responded. That's when he explained the advantage of the 102" wide trailers.

Simbeck has maintained that same mindset for over 36 years. We are committed to doing the small things for our customers that the larger carriers won't do and can't do to keep your daily operations flowing smoothly. Simbeck is fortunate to have partnered with many Fortune 500 companies over the past 30 years. We adapted our fleet size and operations to meet the changing needs of our customers as they modified their logistics to stay competitive in the market place. We've maintained many of our relationships for over 20 years and recently enjoyed our 30th year partnering with Newell Rubbermaid. Other business partners include Kohl's, TREX Lumber, Knauff Insulation, Geodis (Redbull). Safety and service are our primary objectives. Our goal is to continue providing Quality Service to our customers, by any means possible, without sacrificing safety.

We are proud to have received the Gold National Safety Award from Great West Casualty. Our 98% on-time delivery rate earned us the following 2011 and 2013 Carrier-of-the-Year awards from Newell Rubbermaid.
