In the late ’90s, founder Mike Tamana turned one business opportunity into a new business venture. What started as a small operation with just one truck used to move blueberries into markets in the Bay Area, slowly turned into a new and innovative career path. Mike, an owner-operator himself in the mid-’70s, had a keen intellect of the transportation industry. With an entrepreneurial spirit as big as his smile, along with sheer determination, Mike was able to grow what was then known as A-T Express Inc. into a fleet of trucks. In 2006, to honor their father, Aman Tamana and Rupi Tamana changed the name of the company to Mike Tamana Freight Lines.
