Overview
Join our dynamic team as CDL A Team Drivers and experience the thrill of navigating the open road while delivering essential freight across diverse routes! This role is perfect for motivated drivers eager to work collaboratively with a partner, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. You’ll be part of a fast-paced environment that values safety, efficiency, and teamwork. Whether hauling refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other specialized equipment, you’ll play a vital role in keeping goods moving smoothly across regions. We are committed to providing a paid position that recognizes your skills and dedication from day one. This contractor will fly you out to drive OTR for 3 weeks and then fly you have home for 7-9 days. So if you don't live close by, that is okay. Let's get you started today! Duties

• Operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions, ensuring safe handling and compliance with all traffic laws and safety regulations
• Drive refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or other freight types along designated routes, maintaining punctual delivery schedules
• Load and unload cargo efficiently using forklift or other equipment when necessary
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness before each trip
• Manage route driving responsibilities, including planning optimal paths for timely deliveries
• Load and secure freight properly to prevent damage during transit, especially when handling roll-off trucks or dump trucks
• Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or issues encountered on the road

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid CDL A license and a clean driving record
• Hands-on experience operating manual transmission trucks in various conditions
• Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbed trucks, tankers, and specialized equipment such as dump trucks or roll-off trucks
• Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures and route driving
• Ability to handle freight securely using appropriate tools like forklifts when required
• Knowledge of safety protocols related to trucking operations and cargo handling
