Owner-Operator CDL Class A Truck Driver

We are seeking a reliable and professional Owner-Operator with a valid CDL Class A license to join our growing operation in the Columbus, Ohio area. This position is ideal for drivers looking for consistent local work with early morning hours and short daily runs.

Position Details

• Location: Columbus, OH and surrounding areas
• Schedule: Report time at 3:00 AM
• Typical End Time: Around 11:00 AM
• Routes: Local short-haul runs only
• Loads: Approximately 2–3 runs per day

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with all DOT regulations

Complete scheduled local deliveries and pickups efficiently and on time

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation

Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers

Ensure cargo is transported safely and securely

Requirements

Valid CDL Class A license

Owner-operator with own tractor

Clean driving record and current DOT medical card

Ability to work early morning shifts consistently

Strong work ethic and reliability

Knowledge of the Columbus, OH area preferred
