Company has been in business since 1932 providing delicious snacks and dips across the world. Due to continued growth and expansion into the market, we are currently accepting applications for Local Truck Driver CDL A Yard Jockey Spotter in Topeka, KS.

• Hourly wage of $26.36 per hour (+$1.50 shift differential for nights)
• Overtime paid after 40 hours per week
• Typical work week is 40-50 hours per week

• Work 3 1/2 12-hour rotating shifts, with a team of 4 Spotters per shift, as follows:
  • WEEK ONE: Off Sun, Mon, and Fri. Work Tues 2am-8am, Wed & Thurs 8pm-8am, Sat 8pm-8am.
  • WEEK TWO: Off Sat, Sun, and Wed. Work Mon 8pm-8am, Tues & Wed 8pm-2am, Fri 8pm-8am.
• Must be flexible with work schedule, work schedule may change based on business needs.

• Make 25-35 moves per day with straight-trucks and tractor-trailers using spotter trucks and day cabs.
• Some shuttling to/from plants and/or fueling pumps. Most work completed in the yard.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Report mechanical issues, fueling, and checking reefer units.
• Backing tractor trailer and box trucks in and out of docks.

• Minimum of 21 years of age.
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug and criminal background screen.
• Must be able to Driver a Manual Transmission. No Manual restrictions.
• Minimum 3 months of spotting experience using yard horse and/or spotter truck highly preferred.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses.
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English.
• Must pass pre-hire drug screen and physical.
• Be able to lift, push, pull 50 pounds with no assistance.
