Due to continued growth, we are hiring Local CDL A Shuttle Truck Driver Doubles in Binghamton, NY.

• Starting salary is $80,000 per year ($1,538 per week).

Work Schedule

• Monday-Friday, no weekends
• Start times vary, typically 2pm/3pm, work 9-10 hours per day or until work is completed.
• One week of paid training, all expenses paid, required in Rome, NY
• Daily shuttle run, typically there and back.
• Work schedule may change based on business needs; must be flexible with work schedule and/or customer locations.

Responsibilities

• Home Daily; no overnights.
• Drive day cab with double 28'ft pup dry van trailers to specific route destinations.
• No touch; drop & hook and/or shuttle work only.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
• Reporting maintenance/repair issues on tractors and trailers.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CDL A experience in the past 3 years.
• Doubles endorsement required, Doubles experience is required.
• Drive automatic day cab with double pup 28'ft dry van semi-trailer.
• Hazmat preferred. Must be willing to obtain upon hire.
• Current DOT Medical Card and be able to pass pre-employment DOT drug screen and physical
• Hold a valid Class A Commercial Driver´s License, with air brakes endorsement.
• Be in excellent physical condition and be able to stand, sit, kneel, bend, lift, push, pull for extended periods and have normal use of senses
• Able to work in all types of environments and under difficult conditions; hot, cold, dust, indoors, outdoors
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to read, speak, write, and understand English
• Be able to lift, push, pull 65 pounds with no assistance
