Default passcode for ECM ???

any one know of a way to find out the passcode for a ECM 2007 Volvo company owned. I would like to turn the speed up so i can do the speed limit.
Don't know if there is a program that i can buy to get it or if any one knows if i could buy a hand held unit that they use to set it up. any info would be great.

Do you want to just turn your CDL in now? Or do you want to wait until you get fired and then no one will touch you.

You did say COMPANY owned truck. Companies have reasons for governing their trucks - safety, fuel, etc. Messing around with that will get you fired, period. And anyone that does a reference check will hear why? Then it's off to McDonalds or Wal Mart for 3 or more years.

their's a guy on the cb by the J on I-465 in indy that will do it for you then you can run like you want to BUT when (not if) the company pings you sat-com/qual-com/aetheer/deivertech (you won't know thay did it)and have you swing by a company terminal and thay plug into the ECM and see what it is (or was) set at (yes thay can see if it was changed and how fast you have been driving) DON"T come crying here about how you lost your job and how no one will hire you......

btw i know both passwords on the company volvo i drive and i WILL NOT change the speed it is set at because i like driving at truck...

also being fired for breaking company policy can even keep you from working for a good mcdonalds.

The Password for your ECM is DONT DO IT.

If you value your career, than heed the advice.

If you want to go faster buy your own truck and go the speed you want.

If he's driving a truck he is at least 21 years old therefore accountable for his actions. I'm sure he knows the consequences, dose'nt need anyone to hold his hand, so if he wants to turn the truck up that's on him. In the days there were many of us turning up trucks, from drilling out dimes and placing them in the return line, to stingers, to up sizing the buttons, even vice grips on the return line, to bypassing speed sensors and using dimmer switches. That need for speed always has and always will be, of course now the trucks computer will tell exactly what the engine, and tranny is running in "real" time; all parameters. They say it took engineers 5 years to design it and a truck driver 5 minutes to bypass it. There are thou, companies that run pretty much opened up at least 80 mph but you have to look, this may be your best option.

How about for an 01 670 that was just purchased by an owner and would like to change the settings?
