Just an update for everyone. Maverick has been keeping me really busy in the past couple of months. Been to MN (2 times), IA, NE, IL (2 times), NC, PA (3 times), and NY. Whew, lots of miles!...lol...Now in Moorestown NJ waiting to unloaded in the morning, then it's back to NC for a couple of days off! Hope the rest of ya'll are staying just as busy.

Just talked to Christen And there was a mix up.

They thought I was wanting the flatbed division. That's why they said they couldn't sponsor me for a CDL.

She is going to verify my employment and call me in the new year.

I've still got my fingers crossed.

Maverick is the Legend of the West!!!!!

Who is the tall dark stranger there?
Maverick is the name.
Riding the trail to who-knows-where
Luck is his companion
Gamblin' is his game.
Smooth as the handle on a gun.
Maverick is the name.
Wild as the wind in Oregon
Blowin' up a canyon
Easier to tame.
Riverboat ring your bell.
Fare-thee-well Annabelle.
Luck is the lady that he loves the best.
Natchez to New Orleans.
Livin' on jacks and queens.
Maverick is a legend of the west.

We were also notified of a pay raise that is coming our way.

Got my app in for the OTR flat division. If the curtainsides come thru and they do away with the tarping of the glass, I will look into specialized also! I didn't want to commit myself to the specialized and not be able to go to flat if I didn't like it, but I hear going from flat to specialized is WAY easier.

after hauling my first load of 3 steel coils i am glad that I came to the glass side of the house  i hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and enjoys their New Years. I will be somewhere between Madison, IL and New Berlin, WI by then. BTW, if u haven't stopped at the terminal in Madison, I recommend it. Top Notch!!
