maybe go to walmart and get a trickle charger and just leave it on while the truck is parked, they wont do any damage because the amperage is so low

No outlets to plug a charger into as its not at my house but 1/4 mile away at a store. Is it normal for a truck to die in a day with 40s weather. If so this is going be a huge pain in the butt and I gotta get a booster pac or some thing.

something is wrong you got something drawing juice..

I had to charge a 1971 Fiat Allis dozer about a month ago, it took forever to get enough juice to get it to turn over. Had 2 pickups pulled up to charge it. Took about 30 minutes to get enough to turn over, another 30 minutes to get a good turnover going. In all, charged for about 2 hours before it would take off. It is the same system these semi's have, it is nothing like jumping a car, takes a lot of juice.

Something is still on for it to die that quick or you got a bad battery, could be a dead cell or two. Battery can up and go bad in no time. I had to replace one that was less than a year old due to a dead cell. Need to get someone out there with a voltmeter to check that.

Been lurking here for a while now. The hubby started with TMC in August. We only have one Pilot location in the state of MN so I found the transflo site...... The problem I hear about is the fuel stops don't match up with transflo stops.
here is the link for transflo locations.

You could ahve any number of problems. Weak batteries are most obvious. A dead short some where in the system is another. 40 degrees isn't really cold enough to kill batteries, but 20 is.

Just to let you know this is a repost for JErod. WIld Bill thanks for the response, i think Monroe is a little too far, but who knows. I have seen a lot of covered wagons off.
HEY Jerod, I have been looking long and hard at TMC. I was wondering what i would be considered Longhaul or Linehaul? I live just west of I-96 in Grand Rapids, MI. i was also wondering if you have anything dedicated in that area. I understand you have to work for TMC for at least 6 months before dedicatred Thanks for any help
