There was a load leaving there headed for Maine, but it was picked up by UPS/Overnite's flatbed division. I hadn't ever seen a UPS daycab pulling a flatbed before. I imagine Lowe's Westfield is pretty much like the Lowes Dist Center in Denver where I loaded, taking three and a half hours or so. For that one I had to drop the trailer and they took it away with a yard dog. What was really annoying about that load was that they took 5 straps and layered those into the load, leaving me with only 7 four inch straps to secure all the little doodads on pallets on top of the lumber. I could only get one strap per pallet on most of those.

Really all these home improvement distribution centers are slower than molasses running uphill. I think possibly the Menards dist center in Eau Claire WI is the worst. It is always frustrating when you spend more time getting loaded than actually driving.

Home Depot Norwood seems to be "slightly" better organized I was there exactly two hours from the time I entered the gate until I was leaving with paperwork in hand. I would have had time to tarp it while waiting for my paperwork though. I took exactly 30 minutes to unload at Home Depot in Portland, ME. The forklift operator counted stuff while I rolled straps and presto I was empty with 15 minutes of forklift work. Just soon enough to hit 4:55 pm traffic getting on the turnpike.

I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how long it usually takes for a recruiter to get back to you after they have your application? I have been trying to get a hold of sheryl for about a week now and have left her numerous messages and she never calls me back, is that normal for TMC?

I have been seeing several TMC trucks right in my neighborhood (Rt 28, Rt 82 and Rt 85 in Northeast OK near Grand Lake). Also see them at the Port of Catoosa parked behind the gas station there and naturally on Rt 44. I am currently commuting back and forth from Grand Lake to Ketchum. That is how I found out about TMC, watchin the trucks on my commute. There must be some biz in the area huh? That is good to know. Almost finished gnawing throught the chain on my current job; oye! Getting close. The TMC trucks always look great! Any info on where the deliveries and pickups are would be great. Keep safe out there. 8)

we deliver to cargill at the port of catoosa everyday. and load and unload just east of tulsa on 412. that gas station is a blessing when you get to the port at 2am and have to wait to get in.

I was curious about something I saw yesterday. Maybe one of you TMC guys could tell me what this was. On State Hwy 51 about 50 miles west of Tulsa I seen a black Pete 387 . This Pete was pulling a TMC flat with bldg materials of some sort untarped. The strange thing was that the tractor had KTL on the door, out of Joplin . Did I really see that or were my eyes playing tricks on me ?
