I know a Driver that works for them. The pay is great and if you drive local you work 12 hrs, 4 on/4 off and get paid by the hour. That was around the Atlanta area though. I tried for over 4 months to get a local position with them, but it just didn't happen. They offered me a OTR position, but I declined.

All of their equipment looks new and well maintained. Volvo's I believe.

I don't know anything about Cowan but I heard Wilson Trucking has some openings at the Wilson/Elm City terminal. Mon - Fri home nights, the drivers I've talked to are happy.

Well I'm all approved to go to Baltimore, for orientation, had to cancel out due to different home policy than what was explained to me by the recruiter, my understanding was 5 days out , 2 off, and take truck home.
Fleet manager stated no way, 5 days out, 2 off, leave truck at terminal. Other than that seems like a real nice co., But like I said, that's not what I signed up for. Couple of their drivers told me, recently they implemented a new policy if you live 50 or more miles outside of a terminal then you leave the truck at the terminal.

I don't have a problem with that, just be up front and don't lie. by the way I live 41 mile from the yard. So just a word to the wise make sure you get clear understanding of their home time policy
