Default Finding the job for me

I wonder if there is a site that lists company jobs by perks rather than what I have seen listing them by how many tickets or experience to get you on?

I am looking for a job and have a wish list that is probably different than many of you and short of calling every co, I am having a hard time searching for it. Any advice on some companies to choose? I'm in Indiana and have a year OTR and clean record.

The Truck - I love the Volvo that I saw some US Express drivers in, the perks in the truck were good, but I can't seem to go with them for other reasons. And for me the truck is a huge factor since I will spend so much time there. I don't want your bottom line truck that companies order when they don't care about driver comfort. Last one I had (freightliner) you couldn't raise the seat and still see out the windshield so there was little air ride in the seat. The arm rests were too low for me, and there were upgrades they could have chosen but didn't.

Home Time: I am willing to be out 7- 20 days if I can get 3-10 days home. I would be willing to slip seat to get this.

Income: This isn't a huge issue. I am willing to take a few less cents to get the perks if need be.

Pets: small dog OK

Dispatch: Prefer no forced, but if they will keep me off the north east coast, I would take forced.

Freight: Dry Van, No Touch or lumpers paid.

Now someone please call Santa. I hope he really exists.

I can see everyone about to type in CFI or Crete now , they are both decent companies but definately wouldn't be my first choices if I went back to OTR . A lot of the top OTR companies require two years from what I've found Kraft requires 2 , Crossroads (great small company from what I've heard based in Indianapolis requires also requires 2, walmart 3 . Only ones I can come up with off hand are Ashley Furniture out of Wisconsin which requires a year and Florilli out of Iowa which isn't a bad company either .

I wanted to put some companies in this thread that are looking for some perks I am. That way it is here for others. I am still looking so please let me know of other companies or comments on these.

Gray Transport - need more info on whether they keep up their trucks, but they allow pets, no touch, Volvo 2001- 2004 ?, Freighting 2006, Midwest regional, BCBS after 60 days, off 2 day wk mostly weekends.

Anderson no touch, pets OK, various trucks, good regional Midwest no far east, off 2 of 4 weekends

Shaffer no touch, pets OK, Freightliner century, regional, BCBS 60 days, .41 per mile, 36 hr + on weekend

CRST Premier pets OK, no touch, international and Columbia, regional, no forced NYC, insurance 1st day, .32 per mile, weekend home, casual about it.

Gray Transportation's trucks are junk for the most part . As far as Shaffer and CRST go , they were never a blimp in my radar with one year exp . , you can do a lot better then that with exp.

About Gray, they are off my list. Thanks for the info. I was already warned.
CRST is also off, Anderson is off.

As for Shaffer, I have heard so much good about them as for midwest regional. They seem to offer everything I am looking for including .41 per mile. Since I don't want to be out for 2 and 3 weeks, what are you (Smooth) suggesting is better for me? I appreciate your opinion.

You said you were willing to be out 7 to 20 days , so I figured you would want more of a long haul choice . Shaffer is okay , u said u wanted to do dry van and they are reefer . Like I said earlier , I would try maybe Ashely furniture or even Smith Transport .

Ok, I would do 20 days out if I got like 4 - 6 days off. Not many offering that. More realistic is doing 5-10 out with 2-4 off. CRST has some kind of program I had in my head that if you were out 20 days you could be home 10, but I'm not going there.

As for Ashley Furniture, I hadn't thought of them and will check em out. The other one I hadn't found much on for some reason but will check again.

As for reefer, yeah I guess it is a reefer and I am ok with that. I meant no tank or flatbed. Thanks
