It depends on your experience and whether you do regional, long haul, or a dedicated account. I think if you have about 5 years experience or over they start you out at .43cpm. I have talked some of their drivers and I think they get about 500 miles a day. Also, I'm not sure if they pay practical miles or not. Company seems ok, hometime is ok, but I have heard the pay for some of the runs is bad. Sorry I don't know much more but I hope this helps. BOL

Its me again. I forgot something. The hometime I think is 2 days then back out anywhere from 5-10 days depending on the division.

When I was at USX I was "regional" I was always out for at least 7 days, sometimes as long as 14 days. If I went on home time after 7 days, I would be home about 24 hours. If I waited til being out 14 days, I would be home 48 hours. So its pretty much like alot of other companies, one day at home for every 7 out

I'm earning .34cpm, running about 2500-3000 miles a week on a dedicated account. It ain't the best, ain't the worst. I'm content enough though.

One of the reasons I'm with USX is that they have a pet policy. I've got a small miniature dachshund I run "team" with.

us pay well if you run a short trip you get more per mile if it is a long trip you make less per mile kind da strange but 0-300 pays more than 301-450 and 451-600 pays less. the way thy think is you do more work on the short run and use more time doing the drop & hook as in X number of hours if it's a short run you can't drive as much so my make a little more per mile. i can't tell you what it is per mile as i have not run solo in some time but if you call them thy WILL tell you.

as to home time you get 1 day off for each week out 1 week out 1 day off 2 weeks out 2 days off. side note a day of is 0001-2359 so if you go home for 2 days off and you get home friday @ 1220 that day is not 1 of your days off saterday & sunday would be your 2 days off and you would come back out sometime monday. the day you go home and the day you come back out are not part of you days off.

also when U S said that you WILL be home for X-MASS you will be this last year thy had to buy some drivers plane tickets to get them home on time because of all the snow that hit the midwest.
