I know theone sheetrock plant in KY(cant remember the name) they made us unhook the trailer and pull into a lot. They load, secure, tarp and strap the sheetrock down, then call you to hook back up. Quite a few Maverick drivers were there are the same time.
Is there a big reason why? It doesnt matter what flatbed company you drive for, your gonna tarp more than you wish to. I have been to a handfull of places with other Mavs and they had to tarp as well.
TMC says in their longhaul that its more drop and hook, and less tarping. Im not sure if Maverick offers a similar program, but Ill guarantee one thing, to be home on a regular schedule, your gonna tarp and untarp more than you care to. Even if its pre-tarped, your still gonna have to fold the tarps back up once delivered. and in a way thats good for the next guy.
The words tarp and flatbed are like Peanut Butter and Jelly
