I really appreciate all of the posts to this subject! I DO want to reiterate that I am mainly looking for insight from those who actually DO stay in shape and how they do it OTR. Yes, I would of course say that exercising at a truckstops could be less-than-healthy but unless said truckstop is in a cornfield all by it's lonesome in Iowa there are many many side roads and streets to walk and jog on near 99% of truckstops. When I used to workout at Bally Fitness here in Vancouver, I met a Schneider driver who came into the gym pretty often and he was 11 western state OTR with no set schedule. Now, I admit that I only saw him in the sauna....he never chose to hit the weights or cardio...but he was at a gym often as an OTR driver! OK, I'm gonna let this thread go and quite botherin' all you die-hard buffet jockeys.
