I don't know the formula for getting pulled in with pre-pass. You should get more green lights than red. I have used pre-pass but don't know if it is really worth the money. It does keep you out of many weigh stations, but I don't know that it saves you that much time. The only way that it would make much of a difference is if you had a long line going into a weigh station. Most people with whom I have spoken who have it love it.
I timed myself today, from the time I had to start down shifting until I was back to highway speed it was 5 minutes. The same distance would take me less than a minute if I got the "green". I had no idea it took that long.
My safety rating is perfect. Every level 1 I have every had was a sticker affair. Now when I had drivers I had one fail on a Medical Card. But that was over 5 years ago so I think I should be fine.
Gman, does it charge you every time you get the green light or no? I pass this scale 3 or 4 times a day and another one that will likely have it soon another 3 or 4 times as well. I need to know if I should start adjusting my rates up.
