I drove for them for 3 weeks. The main problem with them is Prime bought them out.Told I would be home on weekends,I saw the house once in three weeks and that was for 24 hours.Nice trucks, but that don't cut it.Might want to consider Maverick.Alot better company.

I've never driven for Passmore, but I hear that they are a good company to work for. All the drivers that I've talked to were happy with Passmore. They pay good, and they have a good benefits package. From what I heard, they run the southwest, central plains, and south central states. Last I heard, most all of their drivers are home on the weekends. They haul building products, pipe, etc.. I see their trucks all the time. Of course, Altus is only an hour and a half from here. (Wichita Falls)

With that said, there might be some changes in the future with Passmore. I've heard that Prime bought out Passmore, and I've also heard that they merged together. I do know that there is truth to that. I have seen a couple of Prime trucks, pulling Passmore trailers. A Passmore driver told me that he didnt know what was in the future for them. He said that if Passmore keeps being Passmore, he will stay.

Steelhauler,
Just curious what you are doing these days. I am getting ready to start my 4th week in my own truck with Maverick and part of the reason I chose them was your comments and discussions about them on this forum. So far I am satisfied with everything except my experience in the trainers truck, and from talking to other new guys I just drew the short straw there.

Ya if they are gonna merge with prime or anything no thanks. Talked to one of their recruiters today but next time i talk to her i will ask. i have 5 years OTR experience only one accident 2 1/2 was pulling a skateboard and i liked it. I've been driving locally pulling and end dump but it's just not paying the bills things are just too slow . And i can't stand driving a 68 mph truck . thanks for the help

Prime has already bought them out. They use Com Data for fuel. When you get your routing it will tell you where to fuel and how much to get.Don't go over the allotted amount, that is all the card will accept. If you stay close to the Oklahoma area you are dispatched by Passmore. If you go out of that area, you are dispatched by Prime and they don't give a rats a$$ if you get home or not.Prime has really screwed up Passmore.I would continue looking.
