Right now he just finished a drop in Spokane, WA, then to Lewiston, ID. Last 7 days he got 2900 miles. Short of his 3000 because they shut the freeway down. Overall he says that his temp dispatcher is doing well, he's getting good pre-plan on loads, and May is much more efficient and smooth than KKW was. He is still learning the Comdata and Qual procedures. For instance, I had to get some Comdata checks, withdraw from card in order to deposit into our checking. I'm the money person and he just doesn't want to deal with that stuff. Our automatic deposit isn't active yet, probably next week. Now, how do I go online to view his pay settlements? Next step is to find out in detail how their lease-purchase program operates. This may not be right for some people, but we don't have the cash, or credit for that matter for about another year, to just finance a new tractor. Just got out of the hole with the rig we sold. Boy, learned some lessons there! So, considering that we will probably lease option a house in Vancouver, WA for a year, having the lease-purchase in place will at least give us more income and write-offs. I will do a new LLC (dissolved the one in NV), and hopefully we can make some inroads. Stay tuned on that one! Also, he HAS to have his dog with him , which I will be most grateful for! I have two Jack Russel Terriorists at home which is enough.
Best to All, Iceman's Wife Your husband has to pick up and fill out the papers for the driver recap at any of the May Trucking Terminals. After he does this it will take a week for it to get up and running in the system. They only have the current check online but at least you will not have to wait for your statement. I am still waiting for my husband to do the paperwork. I handle the money stuff also. What we did with the com-data checks is my husband sent me a bunch of them. When I talk to him on Wednesday night I give him the number of the check I will use and the next day he calls in and authorizes the amount . Since I am usually out by the bank I just take it in. Is he getting more use to the Qualcom? I know it is different than twenty years ago or even ten years ago, but with the technology available you can't really blame a company for using it. I hope that he does enjoy working there as they are a good company and do seem to care. Goin Fer It's Wife

I've heard the term "we furnish com-data cards" and getting advances while otr at truck stops and such, but I am clueless how all his works. I only know direct deposit and atm cards. I guess that is what co training is all about when you get on after cdl school, or part of what training is about anyway. They tell you about this stuff don't they?? :?

I bank at an Arizona Federal Credit Union and they accept them. When I ran my own truck I banked at a local Prescott, AZ bank, they knew what Comdata was also.
Chase or Bank of America may not though. Best option is to get your direct deposit setup and then you can just call the 1-800 number on the Comdata card and have the funds transfered to your bank.

When you get advances for tolls, lumper's, etc the funds go on the comdata card. Then you can write a comcheck to the lumper. It will all be laid out for you during orientation.

The bumper is fine. Did you lose a chain or something because the mud flap/fender right behind the sleeper is missing, on the passenger side.
BigAtrukn did you drop it off in Phoenix? Did you run team?
