I think you are confusing I70 with the PA Pike. The Pike has the longest on and off ramps in the state.( Limited access, with
1,200-foot-long entrance and exit ramps to provide plenty of distance for accelerating and decelerating.) That is the way it was designed, so you can build up speed or slow down without distrubting traffic.
Now, I70 from New Stanton to the WV line, LEFT LANE ALL THE WAY!
