I don't think anyone is running logs anymore, I believe everyone has had to switch over 'E' logs now. I could be wrong, my Co. has been running E logs for years now and I love em! BTW! as a reminder to drivers, you still need to carry at least one paper log page with for DOT inspections!!

Sad to think that people think so little of themselves that they will allow themselves to be abused these days. Professionals don't need to run illegal.

Fines can vary from state to state. There are still quite a few who are exempt from elogs. It is a shame that everyone isn't exempt. But, I can't imagine why anyone would want to run more than one log book. It is too easy to get caught with current technology and should you be involved in an accident, you and your employer will be toast. Fines in California are especially high for log falsification. I have heard of fines as high as $3,000. Rather than running multiple log books, try to plan a little better. If you think you need to run more than one log book to make a living you might consider finding another company.
