Default dac report and getting hired question

Ok,

Well I have been driving local for the past few months but wanted to go back otr running a regional run and everything checked out with system transport until they told me that I had an abandoned dispatch on my dac? Ok well that is so far from the truth I don't know where that came from. They offered to come get the truck because they had a driver who was home for the weekend and he lived 2 hours from me. I guess I should had just took the truck back but they kept screwing me around and would make up excuses as to why they could not get me home then when they did get me home they would keep me home for 2-3 weeks. Can't make money that way and thats what I told them. We exchanged some conversations and they decided to just have a driver pick up my truck. Should I worry about that on my dac? I would like to get that removed and will dispute it but hopefully it does not cause me to not get hired. Guess I will find out tomorrow.

Default USIS/DAC

You can rebutt an DAC entry with a letter stating what the circumstances were. If your previous employer doesn't respond, USIS/DAC will drop the entry. The regulations governing them is the same as credit bureaus. You should also have a copy of your DAC, just go to the USIS website and follow their procedures. BOL
