I got an IC model 535 from the Sprint people who have a store setup in the T/A here. I asked for a powerful and loud model and they said this was it and believe me, it will blow your ears off if you want. It was $70.

I can't wait to get a real call while I'm driving. I'm sick of trying to drive and hold my phone at the same time. I wonder who will call me next? Paris maybe? :?

There are some pretty cool Bluetooth ear pieces that also have noise reduction electronics in them that will cancel out ambient background sounds such as road noise. I understand they work really well. Price is right around $100.

Steve let us know how the headset works. I was looking at the headsets to but they don't seem to have the noise reduction. Like I've said I've been using the ear buds that came with this phone, it's a Sony Walkman phone, and really what a difference not having to hold the phone. Never again.

I personally never liked the Bluetooth that goes in the ear as I always felt like it was a bit pretentious but I'd get the headset.

I've had one of those Blue Parrot headsets for a while now and love it,most people can't tell if I'm driving or not and the volume in the headset is very loud, over the ear with a boom mic,it is a very nice set up.

I first bought the one that hooks onto the ear but the volume was like half of what my real phone was so I returned it. They wanted to sell me the Parrot one but they were out and this was the next best thing.

I like the way it feels and I can put it on real quick. I haven't really had a chance to use it yet except for one phone call and I wasn't driving at the time so the real test is yet to come. The whole purpose of getting this was for hands free and more volume and it has already passed both those tests with flying colors so I'm satisfied.

I'm on my was to Los Alamos Nuclear Labs with a load of bricks. My truck will be searched by dogs when I get there and they told me I must be a natural born citizen of the U.S. or I can just turn the truck around and leave.
