The word Colored or the Rebel flag sometimes can be seen as offensive depending on the mind set of the person that is offended!

This is getting too deep for me and I am going to have to bail! This subject can get about as touchy as talking religion or politics!

or talking religion with politicians

I'm offended by the entire thread. I wonder if there's any organization to represent me in a lawsuit.

I've heard all of these terms coined "offensive", but I've never heard "colored folk" coined offensive.

I know you're thinking "Skin color? What does THAT have to do with mpg?"

To tell you the very truth, this thread was not politically correct. lol So it must be really a good one. I honestly liked the annonaminity(sp?) of this board with just the hard cold trucking facts. So now I will have to like knowing what race people are. Not a problem. But we are leaving cyber space a little.

I'm tempted to start a thread inquiring about the success of the Irish-American O/O and how he/she bodes out there. Of course how they bode when they are not drunk. lol

Where do I begin...... I have a driver/employee who happens to be " Afro American", and he is very good at what he does....

Color of ones skin does not determine their business ability.... ask Tiger Woods...

All I can say is WHEW!!!!!!!!!!. I was afraid this one would be locked down after 3 posts. It really does make me feel good that the color of ones skin is not important to the members here, but the quality of the person.

I too have an image of the person posting and many times it doesn't "match" what I thought. ( The poll on age is a very good example ).

As far as Gman's accent..... I spoke with him a couple of years ago and I didn't notice any accent. :P

im not tryin to cause a debate.... debates are good. i know of several black o/o they do well. i do see a lot of white drivers not speak to them cause the color of their skin. because i speak to them, they tell me i'm not white. lol.
