What a joke.... Hope this guy knows plenty of drivers that are midgets to drive his little go kart trucks and run the ultimate dreamy loads. That don't really exist yet. Advertising on trailer - 5K - ya right. ZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzzzZZZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzz...

I don't think that's too fair for someone willing to work hard. Oh well.
The higher the fuel prices the BETTER we'll fare! Hoping fuel will be $3.50 to $3.75 per gallon by the time we join the ranks (6 to 12 months).

Diesel fuel will B $10 per gallon within 10 years! Single vehicle carriers and micro fleets (5 to 25 units) that don't team up/align themselves with others will fare worse than in todays environment!

PM me when you're ready for your authority/BOC-3, insurance, etc. and I'll do it for you for pennies-on-the-dollar (plus fed's fees of course)!

We're planning on running dedicated I-10 coast to coast (CA to FL, GA, SC, and NC).

THX all!

Tell us more about getting Authority or where to get this information.
Do the Mexican truck drivers taking over our roads have to have all this?

Thanks

I would count on buying about 120 gallons per day, on average. At $3/gallon, that comes to about $360/day for fuel. This figure could vary according to where you run, number of miles and mpg.

Gbtrucker, you can do a search on this forum or go to the fmcsa website. You can do everything on line yourself. You will basically need insurance, registered agents in all states in which you plan to run and pay them $300. Without a couple of years of driving experience, insurance is difficult to obtain.

Sorry Mike, all my freight is flatbed. But if I do get something I will certainly look you up.
