I was going to buy one that mounts to the antenna b/c I thought it had to be mounted outside the cab. I have sirius in my house but haven't put it in my car or truck yet. How good does it transmit to the fm radio?

I have XM and it transmits flawlessly to the FM radio as long as the satellite antenna is close to the FM one. I am fairly certain Sirius is even better. My friend has Sirius and I can hear it in my truck if I am within a quarter mile of him.

That is one, you don't have to use the power adapter part but it does have an earphone type plug to do the fm modulator function.

I know I have recommended this site twice in this thread and numerous times in other threads but I have no connection with them whatsoever. I am just a satisfied customer after ordering things from them on many occasions.

Hmm... that one is out of stock too. What's the deal with everything being out of stock or discontinued??? :?

Sorry about that, I could have sworn it was in stock. This one is in stock as of right now.

When Sirius first came out with the FM transmitter on their radios my Pana-Pacific rep came by the dealership to demo them. He did that by leaving the Sirius radio on in his car in the parking lot, walked into the dealership and tuned our AM/FM display radio to 88.1(the station he had his Sirius set to broadcast on). We could hear his Sirius loud and clear on our display radio and his car was parked in the parking lot about 20 yards away.

This is a solid radio that you can get from most any KW or Pete dealer and some truck stops...

You can get one in the $70-$80 range.
