Never did aquire a taste for beer. Shots of Tequilla, no salt, no lime for me. |

I'm at the Iowa80 truck stop and they now have free internet access. I just ran a speed test and they have a GIG Eth connection. For those of you who don't know what that is. It's a Gigabyte connection or 100mbps. They must have fiber optic on the street. The signal is so strong they must have it at the surrounding truck stops also.
Well, I can see I'm going to have to do some duct work in my truck with regards to my Rigmaster. I've determined that you need 2 ducts. One pointing forward blowing up front and one blowing into the bed section. It should be simple to put a Y connection in but I need to find some 4" round vents that I can shut off or adjust the air flow. That shouldn't be a big deal either I'm guessing. The bunk section is nice and warm right now but up front is cold. The plastic flexible duct pipe needs to be replaced also with insulated duct pipe. When the A/C is running, condensation builds on the outside of the pipe and gets things wet around it. Little things but glad I can do them. |

This link shows how to tighten the cam locks: http://www.tirechain.com/tire_chainm...structions.htm There is additional info on how to remove extra links yourself. You might want to recheck how much slack you have after all the cams are locked properly. |

Hey Steve....
Where ya at?? Watcha doin and where ya goin?? Looks like we will be back on the road Sunday night or Monday morning!! tootie |
I'm in Riverton Wyoming right now and will probably be here for the weekend. I'm in a hotel for the night and taking it easy. I dropped off the stage in Colorado Springs then got a load right away. It was 45' long re-bar and delivered to a bridge being built out in the middle of no where. Nice ride up 25.
It was pretty cool seeing the bridge off in the distance on the highway then blowing my horn. The state police came out and shut down the road. Big crane lifting the stuff off. All fun stuff right next to a roaring river. This town is pretty nice. Small but it has everything including a do it yourself truck wash and a 24 hour Walmart super center. Been Bob Tailing all over town today doing laundry and this and that. So, I'm driving down the road this morning in pitch black darkness listening to CNN and getting hungrier and hungrier by the minute. I realize I can smell beef cooking. At first I couldn't remember if I ate bacon for breakfast and maybe farted. I pulled over for a break after the sun came up and got out to check the load and saw guts all over the truck. Lifted up the hood and there was a nice rabbit cooking on the engine!!! YUM!!! Beef....it's what's for dinner. |
