I know I paint a rosy picture but this is something I want all those arm chair wanna be's to be thinking about. Just sit down and draw a line with dates, mileage, fuel and your bills and see.
Yep.

I still say you need ~$100,000 to go trucking. That allows you to buy a combo, fix it, keep it maintained and turn down cheap freight so you can actually turn a profit.

Sure will, I'm just waiting on my girlfriend to finish the logo, get it to the sign printer, and put them on the truck.
Its bad hoodoo to post pic's until its 100% done, but should be about a week. I'm set to start on July 14th.

Even the loggers are shut down this week. Which means the mills are slow which in turn mean the lumber coming out is slow.

The big loggers arond here are shut down for the week. We pull for a little guy so as long as the equipment stays running we will work this week.

never ever polish your own truck when somebody else will do it for 15 a tank and 10 a wheel :lol:

my kw is even cheaper, tanks painted black and rims black anodized, only 30 to do both stacks, bumpers and the deckplate.

Well, I got a load this morning 10 minutes away from my house. It's 3 smelting pots and a big azz electrical box. Pretty light load though. It doesn't get delivered until Thursday in Ohio so I came back home and will leave in the morning. Only 600 miles to Ohio so pretty easy drive tomorrow then a little more on Thursday morning. Then it's time for a long haul some place away from people. Being in Ohio there always seems to be at least 800 flatbed loads to choose from within a 100 mile radius.

My insurance is up for renewal again and got a nice surprise. This will make some of you cry. My liabilty is $6,100 and my cargo is $900. It went down a lot!!!

I almost bought 20 acres in Spring Hill with a nice 3/2 on it. But I decided to go up near Lake city instead.
WTH is a digital camera,....I use a polaroid for instant shots,... :lol:

Hardly makes you feel proud of someone else's work though.
After I polish a tractor here at work with my polish I can't stop looking at it.
Guess it's a self pride thing.

Very very true. Like I said still a co driver.. and I wash the truck every weekend. I polished the hell out of the columbia.. then they took it away :evil:

Will do the same to the KW.. polish.. wash.. May not own it.. but I still have to drive it every day. When you get it all nice and good should only need to wash it and polish less. Would rather spend the time doing it my self.. can polish and look @ things nice an close.. might even catch something you didn't notice during a pre-trip :D
