what do you have to have to drive into canada? is it worth it?

If you are talking about a company driver, the only thing you should need is a passport. And I would suggest using a debit or credit card for all purchases in Canada. You will usually get a better exchange rate. As far as whether it is worth it is concerned. I assume you are talking about the rates? If so, some are pretty good, others are not. I have a friend who is getting really good rates when he runs into Canada. I have seen some good rates lately, but there have been some that are similar to what I can get running the lower 48.

Plus a US/Canada Transit Manifest, and insurance for whatever Province you are traveling in.

just get a fast card and you should be fine, if you or your company dont qualify for fast card, then get a passport card, it's 1/2 the price of a passport, but only allows you to go to Canada and Mexico and only by land
