rank, i see you got interested in rolling tarp step systems too
maybe when i get my own authority and rolling tarp, which i plan to do in Spring 2010, we can combine our efforts? i'm now looking at verduyn system too. emailed their sales lady and naturally she said they are way better than anything that aero-kit (conestoga) makes. actually, here's her email:
"Hello Sergey,
Thank you for your interest in the Verduyn Eagle slider. The Eagle can
be made as a sectional system or a one piece tarp. Either option
delivers a superior product to the Aero-Kit "Conestoga" and the Aero-Kit
"Look". There are so many features that are included and/or done better
than that on Aero-kit systems that it would truly require a visit to go
over them all. I would love to have you come to our shop and experience
opening and closing our demo systems so that you can see and feel the
quality that we build into each system. If you are unable to make it
out to our shop, I could visit with you at MacKinnon's yard and go over
the features and options.
Alternatively, you could talk to the drivers at MacKinnon and get their
feedback as to how the systems compare. MacKinnon has both systems in
their fleet. I am confident that anyone who has pulled both systems
would definitely prefer our Eagle product.
Our website has a lot of great information about the Eagle, with many
pictures showing the different options. It can be reached at this url
Verduyn Tarps Inc. - Home Page. In particular, watch the video showing our push
button front open system
Verduyn Tarps Inc..
Once you see how easy that works, you will not settle for anything less.
The specifications for a 48' drop deck Eagle system are as follows:
Weight: 2,200 lbs
Cost: $19,700
Design: Single Transition
Financing: yes, through a third party
That includes our patented tie down system; our quilted stainless steel
headboard with full 6'6" mandoor; two built in chain racks; front and
rear ground control closures and many other options.
Please don't hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Regards,
Lauren Verduyn
