[Walking Eagle]

After many years of driving and thinking of this problem does anyone know ?
I picked up truck today from shop where it had been for minor stuff. Was real light rain. Now I noticed again the drivers wiper streaks but the passengers side is real clear.
Anyone have a reason that this always happens. (Always change both wipers and have even, over the years, swapped them, and it is only the drivers side that streaks
Should I move the pedals to the right seat ??

Odds are your wiper arm is bent. Either it is not putting enough pressure on the windshield, or it is ****ed to one side.

I had that problem too and i hated it, it's calcium deposits on the glass, it can build up, it's really thin so it's not very noticeable when you look through the glass, but look closely at the glass, it's there, when the glass is wet the water smears because those deposits prevent the wiper from swiping the glass clean. cleaning the glass with a razor blade and water will take the deposits off easily.

This has been over the past 40+ years and I duno how many trucks the drivers side always streaks before the passengers side

it's because you look out that side more and it wears the glass out:rofl:

Sounds reasonable...
BTW Cleaning blades with alcohol, helps...sometimes.

I thought that's why they made the seats adjustable.

I agree, Walking Eagle. Every truck I have driven in 26 years has had a great windshield washer....on the passenger side.

I think its called Murphy's law, it also happens when rocks hit the glass, they only hit where your line of site is

yep.. just like when a bird ****s on your windshield. always on the drivers side & right on your sight line.

I dont know about cleaning with a razor blade... wouldnt that cut into the plastic safety film installed over windshields ?
